Mechanical Engineer

Key Duties

• Strategically plan and manage the maintenance team to carry out plant maintenance tasks in alignment with scheduled timelines and budgetary constraints. Oversee both preventive and corrective maintenance for all equipment and utilities within the plant. Perform initial troubleshooting for equipment malfunctions to maintain optimal operational performance. Offer direction to maintenance personnel and external contractors to guarantee high-quality execution of maintenance work. Efficiently organize and distribute daily maintenance workforce. Keep maintenance data and records for all equipment and utilities current and accurate. Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety measures during all operations. Accept additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience. Knowledge of equipment including pumps, compressors, valves, and fans. Experience in maintenance-related technical functions for Power Plants or Process Plants. Hands-on expertise in conducting maintenance on equipment within Power Plants or Process Plants. Experience in the erection, commissioning, and start-up stages of contemporary power facilities is a plus. Competency in system installation, troubleshooting, routine inspections, and maintenance procedures. Understanding of vibration monitoring and aligning rotating machinery. Familiarity with lubrication techniques. Skilled in managing maintenance records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
