The organisation conducts extensive trading activities across physical and financial commodities, including energy, metals and minerals. Based in Singapore, the business provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced trading environment, partnering closely with front-office teams and regional stakeholders.

Job Description

• Track daily trading positions, market risk exposures and P&L attribution across metals trading portfolios, ensuring risk reporting is accurate and delivered on time.
• Manage trade capture, pricing and valuation curves, and perform mark-to-market calculations to maintain precise representation of trading positions.
• Review trading activity versus approved risk limits, flagging and escalating potential limit breaches, valuation inconsistencies and any unusual exposures.
• Work closely with traders, IT and Risk Management teams to strengthen ETRM/CTRM systems, refine risk reporting procedures and assist with new trading products and strategies.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 3 years of market risk experience within the commodities trading industry, with metals trading exposure considered a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of physical commodities and derivatives trading, including trading positions, hedging activities and the market risks involved.
• Practical ETRM/CTRM system experience, covering trade capture, risk reporting, system configuration or enhancements.
• Strong command of P&L attribution, position and exposure monitoring, pricing curves, valuation methodologies and trading risk limits.
