Lead Digital Architect

Overview:

We are creating an advanced, cloud-native digital ecosystem designed to deliver scalable, robust, and secure enterprise solutions across various business sectors. This initiative emphasizes the design and implementation of distributed systems on AWS and Azure, utilizing cloud-native services, event-driven architectures, and real-time data processing to maximize business impact at scale. In the role of Lead Digital Architect, you will influence solution architecture, lead engineering teams, and maintain architectural coherence while collaborating closely with product, security, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy distributed systems on AWS, ensuring they are highly available, scalable, and secure.
• Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to collect requirements and convert them into architectural designs.
• Develop High-Level Designs (HLDs) for new system components, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
• Perform Low-Level Design (LLD) reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, spearheading initiatives to enhance scalability and system efficiency.
• Work with security teams to ensure that architectures comply with security and regulatory standards.
• Conduct code reviews, offer technical mentorship, and guide engineers to promote high-quality deliverables.
• Keep abreast of AWS services, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in software engineering and solution architecture, typically 10 to 12 years.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, .NET, or Java.
• Familiarity with tools and techniques for requirements analysis, with the ability to elicit, assess, and document essential business functionality and non-functional requirements.
• Strong communication skills, able to effectively convey, receive, and interpret ideas, information, and needs.

Essential Skills:

• Expertise in AWS Architecture: Proven experience in designing and deploying cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Knowledge of Distributed Systems: Strong understanding of scalable, resilient, and event-driven architectures.
• API Integration Skills: Practical experience with REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and various API integration methodologies.
• Performance Tuning: Capability to analyze and enhance system performance at scale.
• Cost Management: Experience in designing cost-effective architectures and applying cloud cost governance.
• Collaboration Skills: Ability to clearly communicate architectural decisions to both technical and business audiences.

Desirable Skills:

• DataLake Experience: Familiarity with Snowflake and various data access patterns using SF.
• IoTGW Knowledge: Experience with IoTGW connectivity.
• AI Proficiency: Experience in developing applications and data pipelines using LLM.
