JOIN OUR TEAM | HEAD OF TAX / TAX MANAGER

Location: Uganda, Africa

Experience: 10–15 Years

Required Qualification: CA / ICWA (Essential)

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee comprehensive Direct and Indirect Tax compliance processes.

Manage Transfer Pricing documentation and fulfill statutory obligations.

Supervise consolidated tax and financial reporting for around 20 group entities.

Handle tax assessments, audits, notices, and maintain communication with tax authorities.

Ensure the punctual submission of relevant tax and statutory returns.

Provide strategic advice to management on tax planning, risk management, and adherence to regulations.

Collaborate with auditors, consultants, and internal finance teams.

Generate tax MIS, reconciliations, and analytical reports utilizing Advanced Excel.

Candidate Qualifications:

CA / ICWA qualified – Essential

10–15 years of pertinent experience in taxation

Profound knowledge in Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, and Transfer Pricing

Experience in tax consolidation and oversight of multiple group companies

In-depth understanding of tax assessments and compliance with regulations

Proficient in Advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and preferably Power Query

Background in Manufacturing, FMCG, Trading, MNCs, or Consulting is preferred.
