QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Work Experience

Minimum requirement of a Secondary School Diploma

 A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience operating continuous high-volume production machinery in a plastic manufacturing setting (preference will be given to candidates with experience in similar machinery within a controlled Quality Management System environment).

Skills/Competencies

Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a diverse, multi-national team. Proficient in English communication, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Experienced in operating injection mold machines and thin-wall containers. Able to conduct minor troubleshooting of machinery. Familiarity with plastic raw materials, including Polystyrene (PS), Polypropylene (PP), and Flex.

Major Responsibilities

Effectively manage production activities to meet and enhance designated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): 

1. optimal manpower utilization 

2. efficient material consumption 

3. minimized material wastage and scrap 

4. management of reject rates/material variance 

5. adherence to health, safety, hygiene, and quality standards (diligent implementation)

Proficiently and effectively establish standard process parameters and identify improvements in timing and processes to boost production output and reduce costs. Generate daily and periodic production reports. Conduct routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of machinery and workstations. Ensure production of the correct items (product quality) with appropriate packaging. Set and operate machines according to standard process parameters in line with quality standards and adjust machine settings and packing lines as necessary.
