Job Title: MVAC / HVAC Service & Maintenance Technician

**Location:** Putrajaya (Base) & Project Sites (Kuala Lumpur & Selangor)

**Employment Type:** 12-month contract with ATS, potential for permanent position based on performance

Position Overview

We are seeking a proficient **MVAC/HVAC Technician** to oversee the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems at our project locations in Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, and Selangor.

Key Responsibilities

**Maintenance & Servicing**

* Execute regular preventive and corrective maintenance on MVAC/HVAC systems as per scheduled timelines.

* Service, inspect, and maintain equipment such as split units, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, ventilation fans, pumps, and ductwork.

**Troubleshooting & Repairs**

* Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control-related system issues.

* Respond swiftly to breakdown calls and complete repairs within specified timeframes.

**Testing, Operations & Reporting**

* Perform system testing, commissioning, air balancing, and operational assessments.

* Document operational readings and detect equipment irregularities or potential failure risks.

* Create comprehensive service reports, maintenance logs, and technical documentation.

**Site & Safety Management**

* Maintain precise inventory and ensure the proper care of tools, equipment, and spare parts.

* Effectively collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, clients, contractors, and suppliers.

* Strictly adhere to occupational safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.

* Undertake additional technical tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

* **Education:** Certificate, Diploma, or Vocational Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, or a related discipline.

* **Experience:** 2–3 years of practical experience in MVAC/HVAC installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

* **Technical Skills:**

* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.

* Strong knowledge of basic electrical wiring and control systems.

* **Licensing & Mobility:** Must hold a **valid driving license and personal transportation**; willing to travel to various site locations, work outstation, and work overtime as needed.

* **Soft Skills & Physical Fitness:** Excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, capable of working independently or as part of a team, and physically fit for manual site work.
