HVAC Technician

Job Title: MVAC / HVAC Service & Maintenance Technician

**Location:** Putrajaya (Base) & Project Sites (Kuala Lumpur & Selangor)

**Employment Type:** 12-month contract with ATS, with potential for permanent placement based on performance

### Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced **MVAC/HVAC Technician** to manage the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems at our project sites in Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, and Selangor.

### Key Responsibilities

**Maintenance & Servicing**

* Execute routine preventive and corrective maintenance on MVAC/HVAC systems per scheduled timelines.

* Service, inspect, and maintain equipment, including split units, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, ventilation fans, pumps, and ductwork.

**Troubleshooting & Repairs**

* Identify and rectify mechanical, electrical, and control-related faults in systems.

* Respond swiftly to breakdown calls and complete repairs within specified timeframes.

**Testing, Operations & Reporting**

* Perform system testing, commissioning, air balancing, and performance evaluations.

* Document operational readings and pinpoint equipment irregularities or potential failure risks.

* Create clear service reports, maintenance logs, and technical documentation.

**Site & Safety Management**

* Keep accurate inventory and ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and spare parts.

* Collaborate effectively with site supervisors, engineers, clients, contractors, and suppliers.

* Strictly follow occupational safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.

* Undertake additional technical tasks as assigned by management.

### Requirements

* **Education:** Certificate, Diploma, or Vocational Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, or a related discipline.

* **Experience:** 2–3 years of practical experience in MVAC/HVAC installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

* **Technical Skills:**

* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.

* Strong working knowledge of basic electrical wiring and control systems.

* **Licensing & Mobility:** Must have a **valid driving license and personal transportation**; readiness to travel to various sites, work outstation, and work overtime as necessary.

* **Soft Skills & Physical Fitness:** Excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, capability to work independently or as part of a team, and physically fit for manual tasks at job sites.
