GCP / Vertex AI Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement scalable solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) leveraging Vertex AI.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and convert them into clear technical specifications.
• Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including architecture diagrams and detailed design specifications.
• Deliver technical leadership and ongoing guidance to development teams during the delivery of AI/ML solutions.
• Improve and refine existing GCP services and end-to-end workflows to enhance performance and reduce costs.
• Lead technical workshops and training sessions for stakeholders covering GCP and Vertex AI capabilities.
• Continuously monitor and stay current with emerging trends and advancements in cloud computing and AI technologies.

Skills and Qualifications

• 14-20 years of experience in cloud architecture and solutions design, with a focus on GCP.
• Extensive knowledge of Google Cloud services, with particular expertise in Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Dataflow.
• Strong programming experience with Python, Java, or Go.
• Hands-on experience working with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or comparable tools.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications.
• Working familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
