Full-Stack AI Engineering Lead - AITDS

Key Responsibilities

1. Build & Deploy AI Solution

· Design and develop backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI).

· Build microservices and event-driven architectures when appropriate.

· Maintain a scalable, high-performing, and easy-to-maintain platform.

· Mentor junior developers by sharing coding best practices, reusable patterns, and effective technical problem-solving approaches.

· Partner with UI engineers (React/Angular) to integrate backend APIs and enable delivery of modular, maintainable micro-frontends.

· Experience developing with React is a plus.

2. Oversee Implementation on Cloud Infrastructure

· Work closely with the infrastructure team to establish required services across Azure, AWS, or GCP.

· Implement serverless, containerized, and microservices-based architecture patterns.

· Lead database integration efforts across SQL and NoSQL, aligning backend and frontend services.

3. Implement Modern Software Engineering Practices

· Provide hands-on guidance for backend development and oversee frontend implementation.

· Set up CI/CD pipelines and implement observability for the platform.

· Improve application performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

Required Capabilities / Skills / Experience

· 8+ years of software engineering experience focused on building scalable backend systems. Demonstrated record of delivering AI/GenAI Solutions.

· Practical experience with Python (FastAPI), RESTful APIs, microservices, and SQL/NoSQL/Vector databases.

· Experience building with LLMs and agentic frameworks such as MAF/Autogen/ADK.

· Experience collaborating with frontend teams working in React or Angular.

· Strong background in one or more cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and cloud-native application design.

· Working knowledge of containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.

· Strong problem-solving, coding, and system design skills with an emphasis on scalable, maintainable solutions.
