Data/ETL Engineer

Data Engineer – Snowflake, AWS & QNXT Experience: 5–8 Years Location: Remote/Hybrid Role Overview We are looking for a proficient Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake, AWS, and QNXT to develop, implement, and enhance scalable healthcare data infrastructures and analytics solutions. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in designing comprehensive data pipelines, integrating healthcare data from QNXT, and leveraging modern cloud technologies to support reporting, analytics, and operational insights. Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines utilizing AWS services and Snowflake.
• Ingest, transform, and consolidate healthcare and claims data sourced from QNXT and associated systems.
• Design and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for processing large volumes of data efficiently.
• Create and manage Snowflake data models, schemas, and data marts to support analytics needs.
• Maintain high standards of data quality, governance, security, and compliance throughout the data lifecycle.
• Partner with business, analytics, and reporting teams to deliver accurate and reliable datasets and insights.
• Provide performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting support for data platforms and pipelines.
• Implement data validation, reconciliation, and automation procedures to streamline operations.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of Data Engineering experience.
• Hands-on expertise with:
• Snowflake
• AWS services including S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, EMR, and Step Functions
• SQL and Data Modeling
• Python or Spark programming
• ETL/ELT development skills
• Experience working with QNXT healthcare platforms, including claims, eligibility, provider, and membership data
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and Agile development methodologies

Preferred Skills

• Healthcare industry experience, especially within Payer or Managed Care settings
• Familiarity with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or AWS-native alternatives
• Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data compliance standards
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms
