Data Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate opensource alternatives to licensed enterprise platforms
• Design reference architecture and deployment models for the new platform ecosystem
• Lead technical proofofconcepts and validate scalability and performance before production rollout
• Build Kubernetesbased data platform

Required skills

• Platform Design
• Expertise in designing and implementing distributed data platforms
• Understanding of opensource ecosystems and evaluation of community maturity
• Cloud native technologies
• Strong experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
• Experience designing scalable and resilient cloudnative applications

• Ability to conduct proofofconcepts and performance benchmarking
• Experience comparing enterprise platforms with opensource alternatives
