Cloud Architect (Azure Focus)

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with extensive Microsoft Azure expertise to architect, implement, and oversee scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem-solver who can evaluate, modernize, and optimize enterprise platforms, while leading cloud migration and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and implement cloud architecture strategies and hybrid solutions. 
• Assess current infrastructure and establish migration strategies (Lift & Shift, Refactor, Re-platform). 
• Create comprehensive migration and rollback plans, including performance optimization activities. 
• Use scripting tools (PowerShell, Python, ARM templates) to automate deployments and operational tasks. 
• Maintain security, access control, identity management, and compliance across Azure environments. 
• Work closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to deliver CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure that adheres to defined policies. 
• Guide and mentor junior engineers and lead architectural sessions with stakeholders. 
• Deliver post-migration support, performance tuning, and ongoing cost optimization. 

Required Skills & Experience 

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, including 5+ years in Microsoft Azure. 
• Strong knowledge of Azure services such as VMs, Database Services, Front Door, AKS, Azure Functions, and DevOps
• Ability to script effectively for automation and orchestration. 
• In-depth understanding of cloud security concepts and architecture best practices. 
• Experience troubleshooting hybrid cloud and infrastructure challenges. 
• Outstanding communication skills tailored to both technical and business stakeholders. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Azure certifications (Solutions Architect Expert, DevOps Engineer Expert). 
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). 
• Familiarity with multi-cloud approaches (Azure + AWS). 
• Experience delivering CI/CD automation and applying DevOps practices. 
• Exposure to data analytics and big data services on Azure. 

Education 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
