AEM Developer

Primary Duties:

• Core Duties
• Design and enhance Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) functionalities, including templates, components, dialogs, and client-side libraries, in accordance with project specifications
• Establish content architectures and configurations within AEM to facilitate seamless authoring and publishing processes
• Engage with AEM 6
• Undertake enhancements, bug resolutions, and minor upgrades while ensuring backward compatibility as necessary
• Collaborate with UI and backend development teams to integrate front-end functionality and data requirements into AEM components
• Diagnose issues across authoring and publishing environments, supporting deployment and release efforts
• Participate in code reviews, adhere to development protocols, and contribute to enhancing code quality and reusability
• Produce and sustain technical documentation for developed components, configurations, and issue resolutions

Technical Skills:

• Essential skills include expertise in Adobe AEM CQ and AEM 6
• Proficient in Digital Marketing utilizing Adobe AEM

Additional Duties:

• Strong conceptual grasp of at least one programming language
• Advanced understanding of one database and one operating system
• Solid foundation in Software Engineering with practical experience in at least one project
• Capable of independently contributing to medium to complex tasks
• Familiarity with Design Principles and ability to interpret Design Specifications independently
• Adept at executing test cases and scenarios as outlined in the plan
• Competent in addressing production issues and coordinating with stakeholders
• Good knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical skills
• Logical reasoning capabilities
• Awareness of the latest technologies and trends
