Accounting Analyst Reporting & Financial Consolidation (Traditional Chinese / Korean )

The Accounting Analyst will support Record-to-Report (R2R) activities, with a primary focus on financial reporting, data consolidation, report preparation, and financial data maintenance. This role works closely with stakeholders across the Asia-Pacific region, especially Taiwan, and requires proficiency in Traditional Chinese for verbal communication and business discussions.

This position supports the month-end close and reporting cycle by preparing financial reports, consolidating financial and operational data, maintaining reporting accuracy, and supporting ad hoc analysis. The role also supports a limited number of journal entry submissions through BlackLine and contributes to issue resolution and special-case investigations as needed.

Your Role And Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Data Consolidation (Primary Focus)

• Create recurring and ad hoc financial reports to support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Consolidate financial and operational data from multiple sources to deliver complete and accurate reporting packages.
• Verify data accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and confirm report completeness before submission.
• Support management reporting needs and maintain reporting timelines.
• Produce and distribute standard reports for finance and business stakeholders.
• Assist with the creation and improvement of reporting processes, templates, and automation opportunities.
  
  

Journal Entry Support

• Prepare and submit assigned journal entries through BlackLine in line with established policies and controls.
• Confirm that supporting documentation is complete and maintained appropriately.
• Coordinate with relevant accounting teams to resolve journal-related questions.
  
  

Financial Analysis

• Carry out limited financial analysis, trend reviews, and variance investigations to meet business needs.
• Support special projects, exception reviews, and issue-resolution activities.
• Deliver analytical support for approximately 30% of role capacity based on reporting cycles and business requirements.
  
  

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Support communication with Asia-Pacific stakeholders, including teams in Taiwan and Korea
• Join meetings, discussions, and issue-resolution activities primarily conducted in Traditional Chinese and Korean
• Partner with finance, accounting, and operational teams to collect reporting requirements and clarify financial information.
• Handle ad hoc stakeholder questions and support special-case analysis when required.

Required technical and professional expertise

Required Languages

Qualifications

Preferred technical and professional experience

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

• 4-7+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, reporting operations, or shared services environments.
• Experience preparing financial reports, consolidating data, and supporting close activities.
• Experience collaborating with multinational stakeholders and regional finance teams.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, BlackLine, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience with SAP and BlackLine preferred.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Data Bricks, Tableau or other reporting and automation tools is a plus.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A successful candidate is a detail-focused finance professional with strong experience in reporting and data consolidation, who can work efficiently in a multinational environment. The candidate should be able to communicate in Traditional Chinese during meetings and stakeholder discussions, while using English for reporting, documentation, and email communications, with Korean language being preferred. The role is best suited to someone with strong reporting and data management capabilities, rather than an accountant whose focus is primarily on technical accounting or journal-entry work.
