Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage regional operations, ensuring achievement of business growth and financial targets
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 20–25 Relationship Managers, directly or indirectly through Team Leads
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the Agri and commodity sectors
- Develop and implement strategic plans for MSME and Agri commodity funding within the region
- Collaborate with government agencies, regulators, and financial institutions as needed
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Drive business development initiatives to expand regional client base and portfolio
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance to ensure alignment with organizational goals
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in MSME and Agri commodity funding, with at least 10 years in a regional leadership role
- Strong clientele base in the commodity sector
- Proven experience managing large teams (20–25 Relationship Managers) through direct or indirect reporting
- Preferred background in Agri, SME, or Corporate Banking
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field
- Experience working with government agencies and regulators is a plus
- Fluency in local languages is an advantage
