Workday integration & development

We are seeking an experienced Workday Extend Developer with strong, hands-on expertise in Workday Extend application development, integrations, PMD scripting, and Orchestration Services. In this role, you will design, develop, configure, deploy, and support custom Workday applications. You will work closely with functional and technical stakeholders to transform business requirements into scalable, secure, and intuitive solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, deploy, and support custom applications using Workday Extend.
• Develop application logic with PMD scripting, including validations, transformations, and business rules.
• Design and configure Workday Orchestration Services and Orchestration for Integrations (O4I), where applicable.
• Build responsive application interfaces using Workday Extend Widgets and UI Components.
• Design and configure Page Flows to deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Develop and maintain integrations using Workday APIs, WQL, RaaS, REST, and SOAP.
• Configure inbound and outbound endpoints to enable communication between Workday Extend, Workday, and external systems.
• Work with Workday Extend Model Components and application data models.
• Develop and optimize queries using Workday Query Language (WQL).
• Create and maintain custom reports, calculated fields, and Report-as-a-Service (RaaS) components.
• Configure Workday Business Processes to support application requirements.
• Manage application setup, security, deployment, and lifecycle activities through App Manager.
• Configure and manage Integration System Users (ISUs) and Integration System Security Groups (ISSGs).
• Perform application debugging, root-cause analysis, and integration troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Workday development standards, security policies, and best practices.

Mandatory Skills

• 5–8+ years of experience in Workday development and integrations
• Hands-on experience in Workday Extend application development
