Websphere Admin

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and administer WebSphere Application Server environments
• Manage and support IBM MQ Series and middleware integrations
• Work with J2EE or .NET based applications deployed on middleware platforms
• Configure and maintain IBM HTTP Server, Apache, or Microsoft IIS
• Manage Windows Server and Linux/Unix environments for application hosting
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of applications
• Work with LDAP systems such as Active Directory or Novell eDirectory for authentication and access management
• Use monitoring tools like IBM Tivoli and support release management using tools like BMC ARA
• Participate in data center migration and infrastructure transition projects
• Troubleshoot deployment, configuration, and environment-related issues
• Ensure proper documentation of build, install, and configuration processes
