Web API Testing Expert

Key Responsibilities:

Test Automation Framework Development:

• Design and develop scalable automation frameworks for Web, API, and microservices testing
• Build reusable, maintainable, and efficient test automation solutions
• Enhance existing frameworks for performance and reliability

Programming & Development:

• Apply strong programming skills in Scala to build test automation solutions
• Develop automation scripts using Python and related testing tools
• Contribute to code quality, design standards, and best practices

API & Microservices Testing:

• Perform functional and API testing for microservices-based architectures
• Validate service integrations, data flow, and backend responses
• Ensure reliability and performance of distributed systems

Web Automation Testing:

• Develop and execute automated UI test cases using Selenium
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform test coverage
• Identify and report UI and functional issues

Cloud & Modern Architecture Exposure:

• Work on cloud-based applications and testing environments
• Understand deployment pipelines and CI/CD integration
• Support testing in distributed cloud environments

Defect Management & Collaboration:

• Log, track, and manage defects using standard tools
• Collaborate closely with developers and DevOps teams to resolve issues
• Participate in code reviews and testing strategy discussions
