Job Description
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure efficient utilization of space and resources.
- Implement and maintain safety procedures to create a safe working environment for warehouse staff.
- Manage and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor inventory levels regularly to avoid stock outs and overstock situations.
- Implement inventory tracking systems and conduct periodic stock audits.
- Work closely with the procurement team to maintain optimal stock levels based on production schedules and customer demands.
- Enforce strict quality control measures to ensure that all products meet industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to warehouse operations.
- Supervise and lead warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Continuously identify areas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the warehouse.
- Implement modern warehousing practices to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Address customer complaints related to warehouse and logistics operations promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse-related data.
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and operational metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemicals, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
