VM and Windows Admin

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operational maintenance and support for enterprise servers in Windows and Red Hat Linux environments
• Install, upgrade, and maintain Windows and Linux operating systems
• Monitor and tune systems for optimum performance levels
• Create and manage VMware virtual machines, including templates, clusters, snapshots, and troubleshooting alerts
• Manage LUN deployment and capacity for enterprise storage
• Work with engineers and project leads to implement new systems, policies, standards, and practices
• Document VMware administration processes and procedures
• Support enterprise backup solutions, including Data Domain, CommVault, and Avamar
• Provide on-call support for troubleshooting and pre-planned maintenance of production systems
