VertiGIS - GIS Developer/Sr. Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software applications ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
• Coding and Programming: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards; utilize multiple programming languages and frameworks based on project requirements.
• System Architecture: Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems in line with organizational goals and industry best practices; participate in architectural discussions.
• Code Reviews: Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and knowledge sharing.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and implement unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing processes; collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation including system architecture, code documentation, and release notes; ensure accessibility to relevant stakeholders.
• Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize code and system configurations for improved efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery; provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices; contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
