Vertica Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data warehousing and BI solutions using Vertica and related technologies.
• Develop ETL workflows including Informatica mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows based on business requirements.
• Perform end-to-end ETL activities including coding, unit testing, deployment, and production support.
• Write and optimize SQL, BTEQ, and VSQL scripts for data processing and transformation.
• Load and manage bulk data from flat files into Vertica databases.
• Perform performance tuning of ETL processes and resolve bottlenecks in data pipelines.
• Design low-level technical solutions based on high-level architecture requirements.
• Prepare deployment documents and support migration to QA, UAT, and production environments.
• Work with testing teams to resolve defects and ensure smooth system integration.
• Provide production support including 24/7 availability during warranty periods.
