VDI system administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments
• Manage Citrix-based server-side components and Windows 10/11 client-side environments
• Configure and manage user profiles, access permissions, and policy settings in VDI systems
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of VDI infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve VDI-related issues including performance, connectivity, and access problems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support VDI deployments
• Perform system backups and conduct disaster recovery testing for VDI environments
• Maintain and update technical documentation for VDI infrastructure and operational procedures
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and best practices in VDI administration
• Stay updated with emerging VDI technologies and improvements in virtualization platforms
