Unix Admin

Key Responsibilities

• Support Unix system administration tasks, including change management, incident handling (Sev1/Sev2), and SLA adherence
• Ensure critical issues are addressed promptly with management visibility
• Drive global platform-level changes and coordinate with clients and engineering teams for successful implementation
• Prioritize tasks and projects while managing SLAs and client relationships
• Contribute to Root Cause Analysis, operational reports, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Administer Linux and Solaris environments, including kernel, process lifecycles, DNS, NIS, LDAP, Autofs, NFS, AFS, TCP/IP, jumpstart, and kickstart
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using BASH, Python, or Perl
• Work with virtualization technologies to manage high-performance computing environments
