Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, configure, and support Oracle Unified Inventory Management (UIM).
- Perform cartridge development, installation, and maintenance for UIM modules.
- Configure Extension Points, develop rule sets, and model logical and physical inventory in UIM cartridges.
- Integrate UIM with upstream systems using SFWS, custom web services, and UIM APIs.
- Develop Calculate Technical Actions and configure UIM Inventory Managers (Service Manager, CO Manager, Search Criteria Manager).
- Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain web services and inventory solutions.
- Perform code build and deployment into development and testing environments.
- Prepare and maintain documentation standards and follow project-defined procedures.
- Collaborate with teams to translate Low-Level Design (LLD) into effective technical implementations.
- Apply knowledge of TMF/eTOM, SID Data Model, and Oracle RODOD/RSDOD solutions for solution design.
- Work independently and collaboratively in team environments while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (BE/BTech/MCA/MTech) in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications.
- 3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Unified Inventory Management.
- Proficiency in UIM cartridge development, Extension Points configuration, rule sets, and inventory modeling.
- Strong experience in integration using web services (SFWS, UIM APIs, custom web services).
- Knowledge of network domains including Wireless, Cable, DSL, VoIP, and enterprise/retail voice/data/GSM implementations.
- Core technical skills in Java, PL/SQL, UNIX/Linux, shell scripting.
- Experience in troubleshooting, configuration, and deployment of UIM solutions.
- Awareness of TMF/eTOM, SID Data Model, Oracle RODOD/RSDOD solutions.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with web services development and debugging.
- Ability to quickly learn new products and packages.
- Prior exposure to enterprise and retail telecom inventory management implementations.
