Description

We’re hiring a Test Engineer to join our team in India. The successful candidate will bring 1–2 years of experience in software testing and a solid command of testing methodologies. This role involves creating and carrying out test cases, detecting and documenting defects, and working closely with developers to support the release of reliable, high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases aligned with project requirements.
• Find, document, and monitor bugs using issue tracking tools.
• Partner with development teams to maintain quality across the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct regression testing to confirm that existing functionality remains intact after updates or changes.
• Produce test reports and maintain documentation for stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience using automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
