Description

We’re hiring a Test Engineer to join our team in India. The successful candidate will bring 1–2 years of experience in software testing and a solid working knowledge of testing methodologies. In this role, you will design and carry out test cases, detect and report defects, and partner with developers to support the release of reliable, high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases aligned with project requirements.
• Discover, document, and monitor bugs using issue tracking tools.
• Work closely with development teams to maintain quality across the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct regression testing to confirm that existing functionality remains intact after updates or changes.
• Produce test reports and supporting documentation for stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
