Description

We’re hiring a Test Engineer to join our team in India. The successful candidate will bring 1–2 years of experience in software testing and a solid grasp of testing methodologies. In this role, you will design and execute test cases, detect and report defects, and work closely with developers to help ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases in alignment with project requirements.
• Identify, log, and monitor bugs using issue tracking tools.
• Coordinate with development teams to maintain quality across the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct regression testing to confirm that existing functionality remains intact after updates.
• Create test reports and maintain documentation for stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
