Teradata Architect

Responsibilities

• Design, support, and deliver BI/Reporting applications using MicroStrategy
• Perform Teradata system health checks to proactively identify issues
• Optimize SQL queries and perform performance tuning on Teradata systems
• Provide technical leadership for MicroStrategy tools and reporting suite
• Work on Unix scripting for automation and operational tasks
• Develop, code, and unit test solutions for issues raised in support teams
• Analyze root causes of problems and provide workarounds or permanent fixes
• Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and knowledge repository
• Ensure OLA/SLA commitments are met as per business agreements
• Exposure to SQL-H and Teradata L1/L2 certifications is an advantage
