Technology Lead – Master Data Management (MDM)

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned MDM Technology Lead to spearhead comprehensive Master Data Management (MDM) projects and enhancements utilizing platforms such as Reltio MDM, Semarchy MDM, Stibo MDM, and Informatica MDM. This role involves architecting scalable MDM solutions, establishing robust data governance frameworks, enhancing data quality, and working closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams to ensure the delivery of accurate and trustworthy master data.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of MDM solutions.
• Develop comprehensive master data models, hierarchies, relationships, and survivorship rules to generate precise golden records.
• Configure matching algorithms, merging strategies, deduplication protocols, and data quality rules.
• Design and implement integrations between MDM platforms and various upstream and downstream systems.
• Engage with data owners, governance teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and define workflows.
• Set standards for MDM implementation, monitor processes, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root-cause analyses.
• Mentor developers and analysts, lead design reviews, and uphold high-quality delivery standards.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Hands-on expertise with one or more MDM platforms such as Reltio, Semarchy, Stibo, or Informatica MDM.
• Proven experience in MDM implementation, configuration, integration, and continuous improvement.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, match/merge logic, deduplication, survivorship, and creation of golden records.
• Knowledge of data governance practices, stewardship workflows, and data quality management techniques.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, technical leadership, and team mentoring roles.

Educational Qualifications

B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc., M.Tech, MCA, or M.Sc.
