Technical Solution Consultant, Google Play

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in either system design or in one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.).
• 3 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in technical consulting or technical project management in environments.
• Experience in Android development.
• Experience with Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with Google Cloud integration.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Work with developers to drive adoption of quality Play features and services.
• Develop advanced product knowledge with specialization in one or more components, including dependencies on other products and teams.
• Work with external developers, generate developer insights, create written guidance, write example code, author blog posts, design APIs, and propose product changes.
• Develop an understanding of Google Play's products/solutions and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for developer reported issues, building tools for diagnosis.
• Act as consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, business, developer organizations to resolve technical integration obstacles.
