Technical Publication Engineer

Job Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled Technical Author Technical Publication Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience in developing and managing technical documentation for Aero Engines, Aerospace Systems, or Aircraft Components.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in producing maintenance manuals, service bulletins, illustrated parts catalogs, and other technical publications, ensuring adherence to aerospace industry standards.

Core Responsibilities:

• Proficient in Technical Authoring and Technical Publications.
• Robust understanding of Aero Engine Systems and Aerospace Engineering principles.
• Experience in creating and revising:
• Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM)
• Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM)
• Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC)
• Service Bulletins (SB)
• Service Information Letters (SIL)
• Technical Reports and Engineering Documents.
• Familiarity with ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D documentation standards.
• Experience utilizing XML-based authoring tools.
• Expertise in technical writing, editing, and document management.
• Adept at interpreting engineering drawings, CAD models, and design documentation.
• Awareness of aerospace regulatory and quality requirements.

Technical Specifications:

• Develop, review, and sustain technical publications for aero engine products.
• Transform engineering data into precise and comprehensible technical documentation.
• Engage with design, manufacturing, certification, and maintenance teams.
• Create and refine maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guides, and repair manuals.
• Ensure that technical publications meet industry standards and client specifications.
• Oversee document revisions, configuration management, and release processes.
• Provide technical documentation support to aircraft operators, maintenance personnel, and engineering teams.
• Conduct quality checks and peer reviews on technical content.

Additional Duties:

• Experience working with Aerospace OEMs, MRO organizations, or Aviation companies.
• Knowledge of Gas Turbine Engines, Aircraft Systems, and Engine Components.
• Familiarity with tools such as Arbortext, FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat, Teamcenter, Windchill, or SDL Contenta.
• Understanding of configuration management and change management workflows.
