Technical Lead - Test

Cradlepoint is seeking a Technical Lead - Test with expertise in testing switch and router products. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with strong testing experience in system-level infrastructure and operations/management capabilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing switch and router products and will be a key contributor to our agile development team.

What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities

• Test switch and router products thoroughly to ensure high quality and reliability.
• Work effectively as the main tester in an agile team, collaborating closely with developers and other stakeholders.
• Be responsible for feature testing, regression testing, and writing automation test scripts.
• Contribute to document writing related to testing procedures and results.
• Manage and maintain the test environment and establish robust test methodologies.
• Conduct robustness and performance testing to ensure product stability under various conditions.

What You Will Bring: Required Qualifications

• Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS), Electrical Engineering (EE), Telecommunications, or equivalent.
• Networking Testing Expertise: Proven experience in testing L2/L3 Ethernet switches or routers.
• Networking Knowledge: Excellent understanding of networking technologies and related protocols.
• Automation Testing: Experience with automation testing (with Perl/Python).
• Leadership: Strong technical leadership abilities.
• Data Communication/Telecommunications: Extensive knowledge in data communication or telecommunications.
• Work Ethic & Attitude: Possess independent thinking skills and a quick learning ability. Demonstrate good teamwork and cooperation spirit, professional and personal integrity, and a proactive and positive learning attitude.
• Language: Fluent in English speaking and writing.
• Agile/Scrum (Plus): Understanding of agile and scrum methodologies is a plus.
