Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Own the end to end design and implementation of payment services using Java Sprint Boot and Net to ensure stability, security, and performance across all core transaction flows
• Translate complex cards and payments business requirements into clear technical solutions that deliver seamless customer experiences and reliable transaction processing
• Provide technical leadership to the development team by promoting best practices for code structuring and reusable component creation to support scalable payment platforms
• Drive continuous improvement in payment processing systems through analysis of transaction patterns, identification of bottlenecks, and recommendation of targeted optimizations
• Coordinate with product owners, business analysts, and quality assurance experts to align technical deliverables with regulatory compliance and industry standards in the cards and payments space
• Ensure compliance with secure coding practices and data protection controls to safeguard cardholder information and reduce operational and financial risk
• Lead defect triage and root cause analysis for production incidents in payment services, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Work with infrastructure and operations teams within a hybrid work model to enable smooth deployments, performance tuning, and environment readiness for day to day payment operations
• Support the implementation of integration mechanisms with external networks, issuers, acquirers, and internal banking systems to maintain high reliability and interoperability across transaction flows
• Review technical documentation, including solution designs, interface contracts, and deployment procedures, to ensure clear communication and maintainable systems
• Mentor team members by sharing domain expertise in cards and payments along with modern engineering practices to strengthen overall technical capability
• Contribute to architectural discussions focused on microservices, event driven patterns, and resilience strategies that improve the long term evolution of payment platforms
• Improve quality outcomes by advocating for comprehensive unit, integration, and regression testing approaches that increase reliability across payment journeys

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java Sprint Boot and Net based application development, with hands on experience building enterprise grade payment services
• Show deep understanding of cards and payments domain concepts including authorization, clearing, settlement, dispute handling, fraud checks, and regulatory requirements
• Apply familiarity with hybrid work environments and modern collaboration tools to coordinate effectively with cross functional teams during day shifts
• Provide practical experience designing and consuming restful services, message based integrations, and middleware solutions tailored for financial transaction systems
• Use knowledge of relational databases, caching mechanisms, and transaction management techniques to support high volume, secure payment processing
• Demonstrate experience using version control, continuous integration, and automated build tools to maintain consistent delivery pipelines for payment applications
• Bring exposure to performance monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and alerting practices that help maintain stability in cards and payments platforms
