Technical Architect - Cloud

Vayuz Technologies is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Technical Architect - Cloud with a strong focus on AWS. This pivotal role involves designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures, leading migration initiatives, and supporting the development of cloud-native applications. You will provide technical leadership, ensure compliance, and drive automation, making a significant impact on our cloud infrastructure and operations.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.
• Migration & Cloud-Native Development: Lead cloud migration initiatives and support the development of cloud-native applications.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with development, DevOps, and security teams to deliver robust cloud solutions.
• Documentation & Best Practices: Create and maintain comprehensive architecture diagrams, documentation, and uphold best practices.
• Service & Tool Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend cloud services and tools based on specific project and business needs.
• Automation (IaC): Implement automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict compliance with security standards, governance policies, and regulatory frameworks.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor cloud environments and troubleshoot issues proactively to ensure high availability and performance.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and developers, fostering their growth and expertise.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in DevOps Cloud Architecture roles, with a primary focus on AWS.
• Ability to develop, test, and maintain Terraform scripts to automate AWS infrastructure provisioning and scaling.
• Proficiency in building, configuring, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline) to support continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Capability to write and manage Ansible playbooks for configuration management and to automate deployment tasks across various environments.
• Skilled in using Python scripting to develop automation solutions for AWS services and enhance operational efficiency.
• Aptitude to support application teams by implementing and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines and optimizing release workflows for faster deployment cycles.
• Experience in managing, configuring, and optimizing AWS resources including EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, and Lambda for day-to-day development and production workloads.
