Technical Architect - Adobe Commerce - REMOTE

Over 10 years of software development experience.

5+ years of proven Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 experience, ideally Adobe Commerce Cloud.

In-depth knowledge of Magento 2 architecture and software development best practices.

Strong skills in PHP, MySQL, and TypeScript.

Full-stack development experience; Next.js/React preferred.

Strong experience building and integrating REST APIs and GraphQL.

Experience developing custom Magento modules and extending GraphQL capabilities.

Strong understanding of Magento indexing, caching, performance optimization, cron/batch jobs, and asynchronous processing.

Experience with RabbitMQ/Kafka or comparable messaging systems.

Experience integrating with third-party platforms, including ERP, CRM, search, payment, and other enterprise solutions.

Experience implementing multi-website, multi-store, multi-language, and multi-currency environments.

Strong client and stakeholder communication, along with solutioning capabilities.

Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage a technical team—beyond providing only technical guidance.

Experience with Git, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Agile/Scrum, and automated testing.

Good to Have

Adobe Commerce certification (Professional/Expert).

Headless commerce experience.

Strong Next.js experience.

Experience with constructor.io integration.

Knowledge of cloud, microservices, event-driven architecture, and IaC.

Understanding of application and infrastructure security.

Strong communication, ownership, problem-solving, and a continuous learning mindset.
