Job Description
- Involves in the analysis of information provided by a large number of sources
- Decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding of requirements, assess the current capabilities of the enterprise and identify gaps which prevent it from meeting business needs
- Identify where change is required to achieve objectives, and document gaps and solution opportunities
- Specify detailed requirements according to standard templates, using natural language
- Write business requirements that are clear, concise, accurate and at the appropriate level of detail to ensure understanding by the business stakeholder team
- Document and maintain requirements by performing requirements analysis and verification
- Work with Business Analyst to understand business problems and rewrite them into fast and efficient solutions that ultimately help our customers
- Ability to use effective facilitation skills and techniques to elicit requirements from a diverse range of stakeholders and group size
- Effective influencing and negotiating skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of when and how to use business assessment tools (e.g., feasibility studies, business cases and/or cost/benefit, project sizing and costing, and current state analysis/needs assessments)
- Understanding of how the people, processes and technology within an organization interact in relationships and patterns to create a feasible solution on projects of medium to high complexity

- Minimum of 3-5 years of mutual fund or financial industry experience in an operations and/or project role
- Experience with the AWD application (preferred) or any other workflow application as either a user or an administrator
- Experience with system configurations and workflow updates
- Strong knowledge of the Retirement Plan business
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into detailed functional and/or technical specifications
- Demonstrated ability to develop alternative solutions to complex problems and recommend the best solution to the business and project team
- Ability to apply acquired knowledge from prior experience effectively in new situations (medium to high complexity)
- Demonstrated advanced analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communicator - ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
- Attention to detail - track record of authoring high quality documentation
- Organized approach - manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
