Job Summary
We are looking for a Team Member in Engineering for coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, overseeing external contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. They will review production operations, train team members, manage spare parts inventory, and lead troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime. Additionally, they will maintain budgets, support technical activities, and ensure regulatory compliance, contributing to the efficient and reliable operation of equipment and facilities.
Roles & Responsibilities
. You will be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional team members to ensure preventive maintenance schedules are carried out in SAP, maintaining necessary records, and planning preventive maintenance activities, including PMPs, breakdowns, and maintenance activities according to defined frequencies.
. You will oversee the handling of external contractors and agencies, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards during maintenance operations.
. You will review production operation instructions such as work instructions (WI) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure their implementation and adherence to quality standards.
. You will train and assist team members during troubleshooting and breakdowns of machines, as well as during the commissioning of new equipment, to enhance their technical skills and capabilities.
. You will manage spares inventory for all Electrical spare parts, conducting balance investigations and implementing inventory control measures to ensure availability of necessary parts.
. You will lead troubleshooting efforts for all Electrical breakdowns, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
. You will plan and consolidate maintenance budgets for the assigned area/unit, ensuring expenses are within budgeted amounts and optimizing cost-effectiveness.
. You will maintain spares for process equipment by coordinating with OEMs, external vendors, and supply chain management to ensure timely availability of equipment.
. You will ensure timely closure and completion of all assigned corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address maintenance issues and improve operational efficiency.
. You will provide support for technical and documentation activities at the site as directed by the Section Head, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
. You will prepare, update, and maintain all documents necessary for audits, including SOPs, formats, PM books, protocols, and machine history books, to ensure compliance with GMP and cGMP standards.
. You will implement Good Engineering Practices at the site to maintain the reliability, safety, and efficiency of equipment and facilities.
Educational qualification: Bachelors in Engineering
Minimum work experience: 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on manitenace and engineering.
Should have 33 KV Electrical Supervisory License by AP CEIG.

Technical Skills
. Prior experience in maintenance and engineering roles preferred.
. Strong understanding of preventive maintenance practices and procedures.
. Proficiency in SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
. Ability to lead troubleshooting efforts and implement corrective actions effectively.
. Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including GMP and cGMP standards.
