Tax Code Analyst

• Accurately classify customer product files to Avalara tax codes.
• Deliver tasks on time while effectively managing competing deadlines
• Communicate mapping results to customers.
• You will collaborate with senior team members on complex mapping files.
• You need to understand customer products and services across various industries.
• Learn new tax codes and their impact on customer products.

• Experience working with Global clients at all levels.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction and business development.
• Motivated and highly organized, with strong people and time management skills, and a results-oriented approach.
• Understanding of basic Sales Tax principles (e.g., candy definitions, food for home consumption) and ability to conduct basic tax research using available tools.
• 1-3 years of experience in customer-facing or similar roles.
• 1-3 years of research-based experience, preferably in operations.
