System Engineer – Vehicle Systems, PIS System ( Rail Domain)

Tata Elxsi is hiring System Engineers specializing in Vehicle Systems and Passenger Information Systems (PIS). Join our team to lead the development and integration of cutting-edge rail domain technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee projects involving the Passenger Information System (PIS) and Voice Communication System.
• Develop functional and interface requirements using System Engineering Processes and tools such as SysML and MBSE.
• Integrate PIS components into vehicles and prepare technical specifications and maintenance manuals.
• Coordinate system development activities and resolve technical queries.
• Interface with the validation team to create System Validation Test Cases for PIS.
• Analyze system-level Test Plans and Test Reports.
• Lead technical aspects of projects, ensuring customer and supplier alignment.
• Ensure consistency and compatibility across subsystem specifications.
• Develop and verify PIS specifications and architecture based on train-level system architecture.

Technical Skills (Mandatory):

• Proficiency in systems engineering tools like MBSE, DOORS, or SysML.
• Strong knowledge of Passenger Information Systems and Voice Communication Systems.

Technical Skills (Desirable):

• INCOSE System Engineering Certification.
• Experience in PIS validation.
• Proficiency with engineering design and simulation tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Railway Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Rail System Engineering.
• Expertise in system requirements development, architecture design, and system integration.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of emerging rail technologies and trends.
