Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical professional to join our team as Manager Strategy and Business Development. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in mechanical engineering, complemented by business acumen through an MBA. You will play a critical role in identifying growth opportunities, analyzing industry trends, and executing strategic initiatives to support the companys business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify new business opportunities
- Develop and evaluate business plans, go-to-market strategies, and partnerships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, finance, operations) to implement strategic initiatives
- Support M&A activities, strategic alliances, and investment opportunities through data-driven analysis
- Prepare business cases, pitch decks, and executive presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Track industry trends, customer insights, and emerging technologies relevant to mechanical and industrial sectors
- Drive customer segmentation, pricing strategy, and channel optimization efforts
- Assist in annual strategic planning and long-term forecasting activities
Key Requirements:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- MBA from a reputed institute (local or regional preferred)
- 24 years of relevant experience in strategy, business development, consulting, or corporate planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exposure to sectors such as manufacturing, engineering services, capital goods, or industrial automation is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strategic mindset and execution capability
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with CRM and ERP tools (e.g., Salesforce, SAP)
- Knowledge of financial modeling, business analytics, and market intelligence tools
- Project management and stakeholder coordination capabilities
