Job Description

Mantras2success Consultants is seeking a highly results-driven State Head - Channel Sales for TMT Products. The ideal candidate will possess 8-10 years of extensive experience in the Steel, TMT, Paint, or Cement sector, coupled with a strong track record in driving revenue, leading high-performing sales teams, managing key accounts, and executing strategic sales plans. This leadership role demands exceptional customer focus and execution excellence to achieve ambitious business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Planning & Funnel Management:
  • Drive aggressive monthly sales targets, volume, and revenue for the assigned geography.
  • Strategically manage the sales funnel to maximize conversions and optimize pipeline efficiency.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead, groom, and empower the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed targets.
  • Provide hands-on guidance, targeted training, and comprehensive performance reviews to foster continuous development.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Customize product offerings and negotiate effectively to precisely meet diverse client needs.
  • Key Account Management:
  • Drive repeat business through strategic account handling, fostering loyalty and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maximize wallet share from critical and high-potential accounts, ensuring sustained growth.
  • Process & Performance Optimization:
  • Analyze customer funnels rigorously to reduce acquisition costs and significantly improve customer retention rates.
  • Champion customer centricity and embed it deeply within the sales culture, making it a core value.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with Regional and Central teams to ensure flawless order fulfillment and logistics.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 8-10 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the Steel/TMT/Paint/Cement sector.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in successfully leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Work Ethic: Possess a strong ethical foundation and exhibit high perseverance in achieving goals.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, coupled with a strong bias for action, self-motivation, and a high sense of ownership.
