Staff Software Engineer, Rust, Core Dev

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical direction of a local team, defining and driving a multi-year Rust roadmap.
• Work closely with customer engineering teams to identify and solve critical problems related to Rust and memory safety.
• Mentor engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration within the team.
• Collaborate across geographies to ensure projects are on track and maintain alignment with technical goals.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 8 years of software development experience in languages like C++ or Rust.
• 5 years of experience testing, launching, and maintaining software products.
• 3 years of experience in software design and architecture, along with technical leadership overseeing projects.
• Expertise in Rust, C++, and low-level systems programming, with knowledge of Google's distributed system architectures.
