We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Staff Video Codec Systems Engineer to join our team in India. This role involves designing and optimizing video codec algorithms for high-performance applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying abreast of the latest advancements in video processing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop video codec algorithms for real-time applications.
• Optimize video processing for performance and quality.

• Conduct performance analysis and benchmarking of video codecs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to video encoding and decoding.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in video processing and compression.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in video codec development and optimization.
• Strong understanding of video compression standards (H.264, H.265, AV1, etc.).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with software development tools and version control systems (Git).
• Familiarity with hardware acceleration for video processing (e.g., GPUs, DSPs).
• Knowledge of video streaming protocols and multimedia frameworks (FFmpeg, GStreamer).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
