Sr Principal Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide R&D support for application and product engineers by analyzing, debugging, and fixing issues
• Develop new features and enhancements to improve synthesis results for timing, area, and power
• Build and maintain Modus DFT software tools with high performance and usability
• Develop software tools in C/C++ to support DFT and ATPG workflows
• Conduct research to improve software solutions and EDA tool efficiency for architecture, hardware, and software teams
• Work in a multi-threaded C++/Unix development environment, applying data structures and algorithms expertise
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance their professional software engineering skills
• Participate in large-scale software development projects, ensuring adherence to coding and design standards
• Utilize Tcl scripting and compiler knowledge for automation and tool development
