Sr. Devops Lead

Over 9 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering

Extensive, hands-on expertise in Kubernetes operations, including cluster upgrades, node group management, and resolving complex issues in large-scale, multi-cluster environments

Proficient programming/scripting abilities (Python, Go, Bash, or similar) with a proven history of developing, scaling, and maintaining automation and internal tools utilized by various teams

Advanced capabilities in analyzing and interpreting logs, metrics, and system states to identify and resolve intricate, cross-system infrastructure challenges

In-depth experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), encompassing architectural decisions and evaluation of cost/performance trade-offs

Exceptional debugging proficiency across distributed systems, capable of tracing failures from initial symptoms to root causes in highly complex settings

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of generating clear status updates, bug reports, technical documentation, and influencing technical direction among teams

Proven track record of mentoring engineers and spearheading technical initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Helm, Ansible), including the design of reusable modules and patterns for organization-wide application

Strong knowledge of CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, or similar), with insights into pipeline architecture and hands-on experience with GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux) at scale

Advanced familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog), including the design of alerting and Service Level Objective (SLO) frameworks

Demonstrated experience managing Kubernetes at scale across multiple clusters, regions, or environments, with a focus on capacity planning and disaster recovery

Experience in contributing to or leading architectural decisions for infrastructure platforms
