Sr. API Integration Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable API architectures that meet business requirements.
• Lead the integration of enterprise applications using RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Define API standards and best practices to ensure high-quality services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to engineering teams.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement optimization strategies.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to API integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in API architecture and integration.
• Proficiency in API management tools (e. g. , Apigee, AWS API Gateway).
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (e. g. , AWS, Azure).
• Experience with authentication and authorization protocols (e. g. , OAuth, JWT).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with GraphQL and event-driven architecture.
• Certifications in API management or cloud services.
