SQL Server DBA Professional

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain SQL Server databases (2008, 2008R2, 2012).
• Handle database migration activities, especially from SQL Server 2008 to 2012, including troubleshooting post-migration issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, validate, and resolve application-related database issues.
• Implement and manage High Availability solutions including Always On Availability Groups.
• Configure and troubleshoot Log Shipping, Replication, and SQL Server Clustering.
• Manage and support large-scale and high-volume database environments.
• Work with SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS for reporting and integration (added advantage).
• Perform database performance tuning using indexing strategies, DMVs, SQL counters, and DBCC commands.
• Design and implement backup and recovery strategies.
• Monitor database health and ensure optimal performance and uptime.
