Sql Developer

Responsibilities

1. Individual contributor, hands on development and execution

2. Eye for details, adhere to software development guidelines and adopts best practices

3. Collaborate and communicate with internal teams/ stakeholders/ customers

4. Maintain, optimize existing software/solutions along with any new development

5. Responsible for evaluating report requests and determine requestor s needs and objectives

6. Identifying correct methodology for extracting data including data sources and criteria

7. Ensuring the delivered report is accurate and formatted appropriately

8. Work across functional lines to strive for and ensure consistent data quality

Skills Required

• Extensive knowledge/Hands on experience in architecting or designing Dataware house/Database, Modelling, building SQL objects such as Tables, Views, User defined/Table valued Functions, Stored Procedures, triggers and indexes
• Hands on experience in building reports and processes using SQL
• Extensive experience in data investigation
• Experience working in support projects using ticketing system (e. g. JIRA)
• Experience working in structured development and process-oriented environment

Advantageous Skills

• Exposure to SSRS/ Tableau / Power BI / Qlik Viewo
• Exposure to fund accounting systems, custodians/ prime brokers/ fund admins related data
• Experience in the asset management industry preferred
