Job Description
- Design, develop, and implement Splunk applications, dashboards, and reporting solutions for IT Service Management (ITSM) and operational monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Splunk-based solutions.
- Develop and maintain SPL (Search Processing Language) queries and scripts to automate workflows, reporting, and operational tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Splunk indexing, search performance, data ingestion, and system integration.
- Build and manage data ingestion pipelines using REST APIs, web services, and enterprise data sources.
- Ensure adherence to IT service management frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT, along with SIEM best practices.
- Optimize Splunk dashboards, queries, and system performance for efficiency and scalability.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members on Splunk development and best practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate monitoring, reporting, and visualization of IT and security data.
